About vinyl fence cost

The cost of vinyl fencing varies for a number of reasons, ranging from style to the quality of its construction. Buying the best quality fence not only will pay off in the long term, it will provide the most in satisfaction in terms of looks and security.

In terms of cost, vinyl fences can run from a little over two dollars per foot to well over ten dollars a foot. For instance, a ranch-style fence can be purchased for a modest amount of money, while a decorative privacy fence will be more costly. Another factor to consider is the quality of the fence's construction.  High quality constructed fences cost more initially, but they will be more durable through the years.

Advances in manufacturing technology allow two layers of vinyl to be chemically bonded to each another. The top layer of quality fences will include titanium dioxide. Titanium dioxide protects the vinyl material from the harsh fading effects of the sun, and stabilizes it to prevent it from becoming brittle which will cause it to crack and bend.

Fences whose top layer have higher amounts of titanium dioxide will cost more than vinyl fences that have smaller amounts of this additive. They will definitely be more expensive than fencing that does not incorporate this feature.  While you may save money on your initial purchase, your fence will not be guaranteed for 20-years or a lifetime, like the fences with titanium dioxide protection.
