About horse fence options

As far as your horse fencing options go, you're looking at three basics types, two of which are your best bets. The three styles are the ranch rail, the cross buck and the split rail fences. Just by looking at the three, one could say the ranch rail or the cross buck looks like the best horse fence.

The ranch rail fencing option is what you've probably seen sometime in your life. The ranch rail fences are anywhere from three to six feet high and can contain two to four rails that make up the horse fence. The ranch rail is sometimes also referred to as a ranch fence as it may be used to wrangle horses or to define property lines. As horse fencing options go, this is probably what most people choose.

The cross buck fence just looks pretty cool. The cross bucks for an "X" in each section of the horse fence. If you're looking for horse fencing options that are a little more decorative than the three rail fences, this is the way to go. The cross buck fence is about 54 inches high and can provide a little more security, especially if you have kids, since it's harder to squeeze through the fence.

If you're still confused and can't make a decision between these two horse fencing options, take some time to browse some sites online. If you truly have no idea which fence option is best for you, contact a fencing company.
